Here at Guildford Rugby club, we understand that trying to find a suitable venue to book a funeral reception is an emotional time our professional and caring team are on site to help you with all aspects of the day.
As a family friendly venue, we pride ourselves on being community based and wish to help families and friends give the best possible send off for their loved ones.
We can host up to 220 people with our large car park able to hold up to 200 cars, with two different room options available we are able to cater for any size reception. Located less than 5 minutes from Guildford crematorium, we are the ideal venue for all celebrations of life.
We will be open before the service in order for any photos, decorations, or music to be delivered, you can utilise our large television screens to share slide show memories. We will be ready for your arrival and will make sure the room or rooms are dressed to your specification.
Our bar lounge area is a warm and inviting room with sofas, lots of comfortable seating, a roaring wood fire, fairy lights and soft wood furnishings able to accommodate up to 60 people. For a larger gathering we have our main function room which has a light and airy atmosphere, dressed with soft white drapes, this can be set with tables and chairs, dressed with linen and flowers and can seat up to 160 people. Both of our reception rooms are on the first floor, we have an accessibility lift and a disabled toilet on this floor.
Our in house chef uses locally sourced produce to offer a range of menus, all available with unlimited tea and coffee. From sandwich buffets, afternoon tea or hot options there is something for everyone and we are happy to cater to any dietary requirements.
Our fully stocked bar will be open and available for guests, and our professional and experienced team will be on hand to help with anything throughout the day.
We have hand sanitising stations throughout the venue, regular ventilation and daily sanitisation fogging to ensure that our venue is as safe as possible for our guests.
